WordPress Multi-lingual Website for Adhesive Company

The customer is based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Europe. They have an established line of business and needed to launch a new product that caters to a more sustainable product line in footwear, packaging and furniture manufacturing. We were able to gather their requirements and provide an easy to use, beautifully crafted and functional WordPress site in a limited time. Work is also underway to translate the site, as we support the WordPress Multi-site feature already into Arabic.

They were not looking specifically for the custom WordPress developer, yet after the initial discussions we felt that WordPress would be the best solution for them given the large number of plugins and services it has, the SEO friendly content management system which is inbuilt.

Design Process for WordPress Websites used by SLC

We begin the process by looking at the existing branding of the customer. We then interview the customer and go through various suitable designs to come up with color pallets, graphic elements and layout placements that would be able to deliver the customer message, products and services effectively. Given the customer is from an industrial sector which has users such as CEOs and top level executives, we felt the design of the site needed to be matching that level of detail and subtility.

Since we used an Agile development methodology, we felt that the customer was able to translate their website software requirements very well into the actual design.

We decided to do a mock up of the platform using Figma as that would provide the customer a real feeling to the websites look and feel. We also used custom design files such as CSS and WordPress files to manage the sites appearance.

We were happy to help the customer develop the text and graphic content. All content was development after revieing meetings we took with the customer. We asked questions such as what are the main products, who are the competitors, what sort of language feel you want and many others during the meetings to ensure we captured the essence and spirit of what the customer wanted.
